Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Just Let it Unfold

It is only a tiny rosebud. A flower of God's design; But I cannot unfold the petals With these clumsy hands of mine. The secret of unfolding flowers Is not known to such as I; The flower God opens so sweetly Would in my hands fade and die. If I cannot unfold a rose bud This flower of God's design. Then how can I think I have wisdom To unfold this life of mine? So I'll trust Him for His leading Each moment of every day; And I'll look to Him for His guidance Each step of the pilgram way. For the pathway that lies before me My heavenly Father knows; I'll trust Him to unfold the moments Just as He unfolds the rose. --unknown

Look at Me!

It is hard to believe my baby is 2 1/2 months! Her personality has just started to come out. She smiles more than any of my other children. She tried out her seat and thought it was the neatest thing to be sitting upright. Her neck is getting so strong. Today Katie was watching Sesame Street and Mandy was in her bouncy seat. She strained her head around to watch Cookie Monster and smiled. She even let out a giggle.
