Where is God?

Katie and I were have a discussion about God the other day. She asked where God lived. I told her that He lived most of the time in heaven but He is so special that He can be anywhere He wants at the same time. She said, "Molly has God in her heart. " I said, "she sure does." Then Katie replied, "God isn't in my heart." I asked where He was? She said, "Mommy he is just above my belly button.

Having Fun in the Pool

July 4th, 2007 We had our family from Ireland over to celebrate with us. The girls swam. It was kinda chilly but, hey, whoever said that kids feel the cold, especially when it's swimming! Molly has finally got back her skills that she had last year in swimming and Katie has really taken to the water. As you can see in this picture, she is thouroughly enjoying herself. Mark and I were hesitant at first about getting a pool, but we are so glad that we did it. We have gotten so much enjoyment out it. We just wish it would warm up again.

I know, I know, It's Been a Long Time....

Thank you all for caring so much about reading my blog. I have been told by many that they have missed it and one friend even told me I was on "blog alert!" So I am taking myself off alert and getting back in the saddle. I have been extremely busy the last month. Molly and Katie both have had busy summers with swimming and gymnastics camps and work has kept me busy, which I like. Recently I had my cousins from Ireland come to visit and that was a treat. They were a delight and it was a much needed time to hang out with family. It is neat to see the distance in our cultures and the similarities. I think sometimes I just assume that everyone has the same things around the world because it is so familiar to us. My digital camera broke and I am lost without it. I had so many cute pictures I would like to have put on here. But I can't wait any longer, I need to at least write something on this blog. I have added a new link on the left....prayer requests. If you could take some time and read them it would be greatly appreciated. They are prayer requests for my family, myself and my friends.
