Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

nor the moon by night.

Just Let it Unfold

It is only a tiny rosebud. A flower of God's design; But I cannot unfold the petals With these clumsy hands of mine. The secret of unfolding flowers Is not known to such as I; The flower God opens so sweetly Would in my hands fade and die. If I cannot unfold a rose bud This flower of God's design. Then how can I think I have wisdom To unfold this life of mine? So I'll trust Him for His leading Each moment of every day; And I'll look to Him for His guidance Each step of the pilgram way. Having Fun in the Pool

July 4th, 2007 We had our family from Ireland over to celebrate with us. The girls swam. It was kinda chilly but, hey, whoever said that kids feel the cold, especially when it's swimming! Molly has finally got back her skills that she had last year in swimming and Katie has really taken to the water. As you can see in this picture, she is thouroughly enjoying herself. Mark and I were hesitant at first about getting a pool, but we are so glad that we did it. We have gotten so much enjoyment out it. We just wish it would warm up again.
